Collection: Royal Canadian Mint Specimen Silver Dollars

After the everyday dollar switched to nickel in 1968, the Mint kept silver alive with a new commemorative dollar each year. These cased specimen dollars mark anniversaries like British Columbia, Winnipeg, Calgary, the RCMP and the 1977 Silver Jubilee. They're 50% silver, still in their Mint cases, and some of the most affordable classics in Canadian collecting.

Heads up: most of our coins aren't sealed-from-the-Mint pieces. They're quality coins saved from being melted, photographed and described honestly. See how we describe condition and packaging in our Collector's Guide.
