Historical Significance
1965 was the first year Canadian coins carried Arnold Machin's portrait of Elizabeth II, used until 1989. It is also a year variety collectors watch closely: the dollar exists in small-beads and large-beads, blunt-5 and pointed-5 combinations, and sealed sets like this one are what they want to open.
Why We Love This One
A full year of silver Canadian coins, sealed just as they left the Mint. A great set for the first-year Machin portrait.
