The 1967 Centennial year set in a clear plastic holder. Alex Colville gave each coin a Canadian animal for Confederation's 100th year: the goose dollar, wolf 50 cents, bobcat 25 cents, mackerel 10 cents, hare 5 cents and rock dove cent, each dated 1867-1967.

The dollar, 50 cents, 25 cents and 10 cents are silver, for about 1.11 troy ounces on the 80% basis. We have two sets; you receive one of those shown.

Historical Significance

1967 was the last year Canada struck a silver dollar for circulation, and partway through the year the Mint began striking some dimes and quarters in 50% silver. We haven't removed these coins to check which they are.
