Historical Significance

After 1964 the U.S. took silver out of dimes and quarters, but the Kennedy half kept a 40% silver-clad composition from 1965 through 1970. 129,881,800 were struck at Denver in 1969, the only mint making circulation halves that year.

Why We Love This One

A real silver Kennedy with lots of character from its toning. An easy, affordable piece of U.S. silver.
