Historical Significance
The CF-100 Canuck was an all-weather jet interceptor designed and built in Canada by Avro Canada. The Aviation Series paired famous Canadian aircraft with portraits of the people behind them; this coin is from Series Two, struck in a full troy ounce of sterling silver.
Why We Love This One
A true Canadian-built jet with a gold cameo of the pilot who flew it. It pairs well with the 1996 CF-105 Arrow from the same series.
