Historical Significance

As the card explains, each time the tide flows out of the Bay of Fundy it reveals the Hopewell Rocks, sculpted by the sea. The coin was designed by Royal Canadian Mint engraver Stan Witten, with Susanna Blunt's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the other side. The Mint limited it to 25,000, and the certificate numbers this one 04903.
