Historical Significance
As the Mint card explains, the Bluenose was launched on March 26, 1921 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The design is by Canadian artist Yves Bérubé. For the anniversary, the other side carries King George V, the king when the Bluenose was launched, by Sir E.B. MacKennal. The Mint produced 30,000.
